Week 10 This week we are on the search for the Worship Spiritual Discipline Gem. Worship is something that the Old and New Testaments both talk about and there is a lot of references to the how’s of worship and what it’s really all about. The Bible is clear about worship being what’s referred to as True Worship that exalts God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit above all other things. There are many things in our world that can take us away from true worship that can be turned into an idol that is worshipped. God told Israel many times that they were to have no other gods, but him and him alone. It is one of the ten commandments. The first commandment in Exodus 20:3, says "You shall have no other gods before Me." Today we are talking about Meditation. The Bible encourages a form of meditation called mind-full-ness, which involves deep thought on God's Word, His nature, and His actions. The world’s view on this is emptying the mind. in a nutshell it’s the global view of meditation is therefore a mixture of practical wellness adoption, spiritual devotion, and critical examination of its majority evolution. Today we will be looking at the word Sanctification. If you ask me I say that this word is a fifty-dollar word. But to simply put it, It’s being set apart for God’s use of our life here on earth. What You Say! “We need to realize that our words can build or tear up depending on how, and what we say! The saying is "You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar," meaning it's easier to persuade people by being kind and polite rather than aggressive or rude. When you are rude you will run people away from you, and eventually no one will want to be around you. But if you are polite and kind then you will always be able to talk to people and have friends. Today we are looking at what you hear! This is just as important as you see. What we hear can and will determine our heading into the path of life we take. By following what we hear. Some of these influences come from our family, friends, associates, and possibly others. Music is one of the biggest influences of the day and age in which we live today. The lyrics can carry positive or negative influences on what we hear. As always tell me the person or thing that influences you more, and I’ll tell you where you’re heading in life. The Great White Throne Judgment

Jesus and the Battle of Armageddon Week 12
The Battle of Armageddon is a prophesied event that will take place when Jesus returns to Earth for the Second Coming and destroys evil. The battle will be a final showdown between good and evil and will involve the entire Earth. Are You Ready For The Rapture
Part 1 Week 8 There have been thousands of Prophecies in the Old Testament Scriptures that talk about what will take place in the future. Yet this future is fast approaching even as we speak. Christ will come for all Christians, both living and dead, and take them to heaven. This event will be secret, and the world of unbelievers will not know it is happening. In light of our world today, we are in a place where this event could happen at any time. The sad part is that many churches today are not preaching the whole bible to tell believers what will really happen. Many are satisfied, not knowing, and this can be very devastating if we are not aware. Our hope is not to scare you, but to make you aware that the time is coming to an end. The Second Temple Destroyed
Week 7 We are looking at the second temple that was destroyed by the Romans back in AD 70. The Jews were under heavy taxation from the Romans. The Jews led a revolt and occupied Jerusalem in 66 AD initiating the first Roman-Jewish war. In 70 AD the Romans reclaimed Jerusalem and destroyed the Second Temple with only a portion of the western wall remaining though recent archeological discoveries date portions of the wall to later periods. The destruction of Jerusalem and the Second Temple was catastrophic for the Jewish people. According to the contemporary historian Josephus, hundreds of thousands of Jews perished in the siege of Jerusalem and elsewhere in the country, and many thousands more were sold into slavery. The First Temple Destroyed
Week 6 "The First Temple," was built by King Solomon, but the building was destroyed four hundred years later. Because of Israel's continued sin against God. According to the holy scriptures it tells us in the Old Testament that some of Israel’s kings followed God, while others introduced idol worship and other gods! This was a great sin against God. For four hundred years God sent prophets to warn Israel to turn back to God. But most fell on deaf ears. So, then he sent the king of Babylon to conquer and destroy the temple. A Nation's Army Destroyed
Week 5 We are looking at the famous story of the Red Sea Crossing by Moses and the Israelites. Keep in mind that the number of them were six hundred thousand men from ages to 20 to 60. Not including women and children and the elderly. Some have said that total could have been two point five up to three million people total. When they say 600,000, this refers only to the men 20 to 60 years of age who were able to fight if needed. Sodom Gomorrah and Nineveh Week 4
We are looking at two major stories that took place separately. The first part is the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. These were two sister cities not far from each other. God noticed the intense sin and how awful the people were. Along with the most awful things that should never have been done. So, the bible tells us that when these two cities would not listen that God destroyed them with brimstone and fire. I see that since that day to this day nothing has ever grown back there. Not even weeds. And no one has ever rebuilt these cities from that time to today! The next city we are looking at is Nineveh! If you remember God sent Jonah, after the whale trip Jonah listened to God, and went to Nineveh to tell them they had 30 days to repent, or God would destroy them. What’s amazing is that Nineveh, fasted and sent time repenting and God spared them. But one hundred and fifty years later they went back to sinning and being bad. Tower of Babel Week 3
We are looking at the Tower of Babel today! The Tower of Babel has been a very interesting controversial thought for many centuries. But again, there is overwhelming proof that this event really took place. Did you know that the language groups that came out of this experience all recorded such an event like this confusion of tongues. Another interesting fact is that this tower site is located in what is called Babylon back in the bible days. Yes, Babylon still exists today as a set of ruins in modern-day Iraq, about 55 miles south of Baghdad. To this day no one has been able to rebuild the Babylonian empire. One final note for now is that from the time of the flood till the tower of babel. It was three hundred and forty years. The Flood Week 2
We are telling you of a global flood that happened back in the days of Noah! The story of the flood in the Bible is told in Genesis chapters six through nine. God sent the flood to destroy humanity and return the Earth to its watery state before Creation. The flood was a judgment on humanity's wickedness. Because man had gone far from God. God chose Noah to survive the flood and continue the human race. Noah built an ark to house himself, his family, and certain animals. Two of every kind. Here’s the timeline The flood began when "the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened". The flood lasted 150 days, and the ark landed on the mountains of Ararat. After a year and 27 days, Noah and his family disembarked from the ark. www.professorandfriends.com |

Week 8 We’ve all heard the sayings that go like this. “God helps those who help themselves”. Then people will say, that’s in the bible. But the reality is, THAT IS NOT IN THE BIBLE AT ALL! It’s just man’s way of saying that God said it. This term started back in Ancient Greece, and Professor Whoopie will address this more. Now here’s what Jesus really said! Today some people say Jesus said that I am a way, a truth, and a life. Simply meaning there are a number of ways to get to Heaven and Jesus isn’t the only one! Lost For Eternity Or Eternal Life

Live your dreams.” Keep in mind that Jesus never said that, but instead he said, “You can be lost for eternity or have eternal life”! This world always tries to justify themselves by saying that God will allow everyone to go to heaven. This is and has been called the Hollywood way. That all no matter what you do will go to heaven. BUT The reality is that without Jesus you will not make it into heaven. No good looks, or living life clean as possible will get you into heaven. We Must Remain With Jesus
The world says that Jesus said, you are the center of your universe. You can make anything happen! But Jesus never said that. Instead, he said it this way! He’s the vine and we are the branches. David's Mighty Men Part 2
This is our last day in the series called HOGS. Heart of God Seekers. Last week we mentioned about David’s mighty men. Today we will continue. I want to take you back to their humble beginnings. Some, if not most, of “The Thirty” joined David when he was fleeing from Saul. The biblical text mentions two or three by name, Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, Amasai and possibly Jediael. States that while David was hiding from Saul “everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt and everyone who was discontented gathered to him.” These were the kind of men who initially filled David’s ranks and many of them certainly would become part of The Thirty. KIng David The Ark Comes Back
To Israel Today we are looking at when King David brings back the Ark of the Covenant of God back to Jerusalem. The first time that they tried, the Ark was on a new cart and this is when the trouble began. So, David left the ark with Obed-Edon. At his house for three months, till David found out the proper way to bring the ark back to Jerusalem. When the Ark of the Covenant was brought back, David was dancing before the Lord in celebration that he was found worthy of bringing it back. The Shepherd Warrior
Today we are continuing on David as a Shepherd Warrior, during these times when David had to defend the heard, he was able to work on his skills as a warrior. While some people would run the other way! David ran toward the danger to save the sheep that were in trouble. Sometimes he would have to help the animal if it was hurt to tend to its healing, so that the sheep could join into the heard again.
